Welcome to HoopsCall (“the Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Service, with or without creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

HoopsCall is a web application for basketball fans. It lets users predict the starting five and top performers of upcoming games, choose favorite players, earn virtual points, browse schedules, standings and statistics, compare players and teams, and optionally receive notifications.

• To use the Service you must register with a valid email address, a username, and a password.
• You may only create one account per person.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by email at YOUR@EMAIL.COM(or, where available, from your account settings).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• Predictions and virtual points are for entertainment only. The Service is not a betting, gambling, or lottery service.
• Points have no cash value. They cannot be bought for money, exchanged, sold, or transferred, and there are no real-money prizes.
• Points are calculated automatically from game data supplied by third parties. If that data is delayed, corrected, or wrong, points may be delayed or changed.
• We may adjust or reset points and purchases of virtual items where needed, for example to correct errors or to deal with abuse.

By submitting a username, predictions, or any other content (“User Content”), you confirm that you have the right to submit it and that it is lawful. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display it as needed to operate the Service.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• submit offensive, abusive, hateful, or misleading content;
• use bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to gain an advantage or to collect points;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass the security or limits of the Service;
• impersonate other people or misrepresent your affiliation.

• HoopsCall is an unofficial fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the NBA, any NBA team, or any of their partners.
• All team names, logos, player names, and related marks are the property of their respective owners. We claim no ownership of them. They are shown for informational, non-commercial purposes only and do not imply any endorsement.
• Game data and statistics come from third-party sports data providers. We do not own this information, and it may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed.
• If you are a rights holder and want content removed or changed, email us at YOUR@EMAIL.COM. We will respond promptly.

The original design, code, and text of the Service belong to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission. This does not apply to third-party content described in section 6, which belongs to its respective owners.

Notifications are optional and you can turn them off at any time in your browser or phone settings. They are provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed or not delivered.

We may change, suspend, or stop any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Predictions, statistics, and comparisons are for entertainment and information only and are not professional advice or official information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or usefulness.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
